Tyson Riggins

A native of Gainesville, Tyson Riggins, is a 3rd generation builder. Exposed to the building and construction industry at a young age, Tyson immediately knew he wanted to follow in his father and grandfathers’ footsteps. In high school, he took drafting classes, which is when he developed a passion for designing and building homes. In fact, Tyson began designing homes in Gainesville for a local builder at the young age of 15 years old while still in high school.
As soon as he graduated from Gainesville High School, Tyson started working on his father’s job sites while attending college. Insistent he learn multiple trades, Tyson’s father wanted him to understand all aspects of the building process. Therefore, he had him trained with the rough carpenters, trim carpenters, and electricians for 4 years, all while balancing a college education and obtaining an electrical license.
Tyson’s multiple talents were noticed by another local custom home builder who hired him as a superintendent. He quickly flourished in the field and was promoted to be the Construction Manager for the builder for several years. Once he obtained his building contractor’s license, Tyson decided to venture out on his own and start a small design/construction company with his father doing design for other builders in town and building custom additions, remodeling, and full custom builds.
In 2008, Tyson studied other aspects of the construction industry and also decided to start an insulation company, Eco Foam. With the vast background in building, Tyson was able to quickly grow Eco Foam, offering a niche of using spray foam insulation for most of the high-end custom builders in the area. In 2010, Tyson began doing the exclusive floor plan design work for Spain & Cooper Homes, in addition to their insulation.
Tyson’s work relationship with Spain & Cooper expanded in 2018 as they began to look for property to develop and build together. Now builder-partners, Tyson and Mike Cooper have a proven track record for finding great properties to develop into communities as well as custom building individual homes. Both partners exude a passion for building a quality home that they’re proud to stand behind.

Our clients often ask “What would Lauren do?” when faced with decisions during the build because Lauren truly knows our clients’ style and they trust her decisions.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Florida State University, she previously owned and operated her own Interior Design business, Lauren Durand Designs. Born and raised in Jupiter, Lauren and her husband, Drew, have two beautiful children.
